How to install the Propane Chat widget on Wix:
Before we begin, in order to add Propane Chat to your Wix website you must have a premium Wix plan (it doesn't matter which one).
When Propane Chat is installed on a Wix site it automatically integrates with the Wix Inbox system so that you can see all AI dialogue in real time. So, to make this possible and have Propane Chat function correctly on your Wix website you need to have the free Wix Chat app installed on your Wix site. You can install it from the Wix app market here:
Once you have that installed you can install the Propane Chat App for Wix here:
Once it is finished installing Propane Chat will automatically connect to the Wix Chat App and begin responding to messages. You see the Propane Chat dashboard for with visit the Wix Dashboard at manage.wix.com and then nagivate to Propane chat under the "Apps" tab in the left menu as shown below:
Here, in the Propane Chat Dashboard, you can see all of the Propane Chat settings and features.
Embed vs. Widget:
There are two ways to use Propane Chat. You can embed it on a specifc page of your website or you can have it appear as a widget in the corner of the pages of your website. The little chat icon in the bottom right corner of this screen is the widget version and this is the embedded version and what it might look like on a page of your website:
